    Members of the public also may join Identity committees. You do not need to be a board member to sit on these committees. Board committees include governance, development, and finance. Email us to learn more.

Volunteer board members play an important role in governing the organization.

If the director position becomes vacant, a new director may be elected to fill the vacated seat by a majority vote of the Board of Directors.

There is a three-year commitment if you are appointed/elected to the board.
