Inland Northwest Clinic
Coming 2026Across the country, many LGBTQIA2S+ people learn early to keep their guard up in healthcare settings: scan for a provider who might understand, share just enough to get through the appointment, hope it won’t mean starting over somewhere else. The Inland Northwest is no exception—and local partners have voiced how deeply this has shaped care here.
When Identity began asking whether our next clinic should be in this region, community members offered a clear direction: build something that strengthens what already exists. Work alongside the people who have held this community together, expand what’s possible, and create a place where LGBTQIA2S+ people can get both the everyday care everyone needs and the specialized care that has been hardest to find.
The Inland Northwest Clinic grows from that shared vision. It will be a medical home for LGBTQIA2S+ people across the region—lesbian, gay, bi, trans, nonbinary, people living with HIV, and anyone who has felt overlooked or unsafe in care. Primary care, gender-affirming care, behavioral health, and HIV and sexual health services will live under one roof, with staff and systems built around the full realities of our community’s lives.

What Care Will Be Available
-

Primary Care
A reliable medical home for LGBTQIA2S+ adults across the Inland Northwest. Routine checkups, chronic condition management, preventive screenings, and the day-to-day care that keeps you well, delivered in a setting where your relationships, identity, and family structure don’t need to be edited out of the conversation.
-

Gender-Affirming Care
Care for trans, nonbinary, and gender expansive people that is clinically strong, grounded in informed consent, and respectful of each person’s goals. This includes hormone therapy and related monitoring, surgical readiness support, individual and family therapy.
-

Behavioral Health
Individual therapy and psychiatric support from providers who understand how stress, discrimination, family dynamics, and safety concerns show up in the lives of LGBTQIA2S+ people. The focus is on building long-term relationships where you don’t have to re-explain your identity, or the vulnerability of exploring that identity, every time you sit down.
-

HIV Care & Sexual Health
Judgment-free HIV care and sexual health services, including HIV treatment, PrEP, PEP, and STI testing and treatment. Whether you’re reconnecting to HIV care after a gap, thinking about starting PrEP, or just looking for a place where you can talk honestly about your sexual health, this clinic is designed to meet you where you are.
What You Can Expect Here
-
Care That Doesn’t Ask You to Shrink Yourself
You won’t be asked to tone down your life to make a visit go smoothly. We expect patients to be LGBTQIA2S+, to have complicated histories with healthcare, and to arrive with real reasons to be cautious. Our job is to earn trust over time, not demand it up front.

-
Staff Training and Systems That Match Our Values
From check-in to follow-up, our workflows, forms, and policies are built to reduce friction for LGBTQIA2S+ patients. That includes correct names and pronouns, thoughtful rooming and privacy practices, and a clear process for addressing concerns if something doesn’t feel right.
